Her approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that healing happens through connection and trust.
By having a calm and thoughtful presence, Amanda helps clients feel at ease as they begin the therapeutic process. Amanda works with individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life, meeting each client where they are, offering a nonjudgmental space to explore challenges, navigate transitions, and work toward meaningful change.
With a background as a collegiate volleyball player, Amanda understands the importance of perseverance and mental resilience—qualities that benefit clients in therapy as well. Her experience in sports helps her connect with clients on their own journey of personal growth, supporting them in building resilience and staying focused on long-term goals. Whether navigating personal struggles or working toward self-improvement, Amanda brings a unique perspective that helps clients embrace their potential and move forward with confidence.
Training and Experience: Amanda obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Communications from Edgewood College in 2022. She is earning her master’s degree in counseling with an emphasis on clinical mental health at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Techniques: Amanda integrates several therapeutic approaches to best fit each client’s unique needs. She utilizes person-centered, strength-based, solution-focused, systemic therapy, and Adlerian therapy concepts in her practice.
