Treatment Specialties: Becky’s therapeutic approach is to provide support and helpful techniques to effectively address relationship and life challenges. She works from a collaborative, strengths-based approach that focuses on you being the expert of your life. She wants to provide a safe environment to encourage open communication regarding struggles and hardships, but also triumphs and successes. Becky enjoys working with families, couples, and individuals of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, and is LGBTQ+ friendly.
Training and Experience: Becky has bachelors’ degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and spent a year working at Central Wisconsin Center as a Recreational Therapist Assistant. She graduated from Edgewood College’s Marriage and Family Therapy Program with her Masters of Science in May 2019. Also at this time, Becky completed her internship at Marriage & Family Solutions. Following graduation, she finished her post graduate training hours working with the incarcerated population at Dane County Jail. She is excited to return to Marriage & Family Solutions post licensure.
Techniques: Becky works from a systemic perspective, often using collaborative, client-centered, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and narrative techniques.
