Treatment Specialties: Carrie enjoys working with a wide range of clients to help identify patterns of thinking that affect behavior and vice versa. She also enjoys helping couples improve their communication and co-parenting styles through a systemic solution-focused approach.
Training and Experience: Carrie graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin- Platteville with a degree in Psychology in 2019. She is currently at Clarke University finishing her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. She also has experience working with teens in the foster care system as well as children and adults with disabilities.
Techniques: Carrie uses a combination of motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy with an integrative and holistic approach. Carrie’s goal is to create a therapeutic environment that enhances motivation, insight, and self-esteem.
