Treatment Specialties: Emilie uses utilizes techniques from solution focused, client-centered, narrative and collaborative therapy to serve clients with diverse needs. She is also an LGBTQ ally.
Training and Experience: Emilie has a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and spent a year teaching in the Madison Metropolitan School District. She graduated with her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College in May 2018. She has been with Marriage & Family Solutions since 2017.
Techniques: Emilie has experience in working adolescents, individuals with disabilities, couples, and families. She enjoys working with clients to discuss effective communication skills, problem solving, goal setting, co-parenting skills, relationship issues, self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. Emilie believes in a systemic approach where she helps clients to identify issues and to make tangible change in every aspect of their lives. Emilie is available for telehealth appointments.
