Treatment Specialties:  Emilie utilizes techniques from Internal Family Systems, Solutions Focused, Client-Centered, and Narrative therapy to work with clients with diverse needs. She is also an LGBTQ ally. 

Training and Experience: Emilie has a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She graduated with her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College in May 2018. She has been with Marriage & Family Solutions since 2017. She lived in Madison for 10 years, and now lives in La Crosse and sees clients in person at our Onalaska clinic. She is available to see Madison area clients virtually and still has strong ties to that community. 

Techniques: Emilie enjoys working with people at all stages of life. She has experience with children, and teens as well as adults and older adults. She has a special interest in working with expecting mothers, parents and couples. She is Internal Family Systems informed and this treatment modality helps clients to heal from past trauma and to find peace in the present by getting in touch with their own internal system and connecting to their authentic selves.
