Treatment Specialties: Erika works with individuals and families, and especially enjoys working with couples. She strives to provide a comfortable and safe environment with a lot of support for her clients. Erika sees clients with a wide variety of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, sexual issues, relational issues, and overall life stressors.
Training and Experience: Erika has a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a certified PREPARE/ENRICH marriage facilitator. PREPARE/ENRICH is an assessment used when working with couples.
Techniques: She comes from a systemic perspective and often takes a Solution-Focused or Client-Centered approach, but also integrates Narrative and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concepts.
