Treatment Specialties: Laura uses an environmental and systemic therapeutic approach. This means she believes in examining patterns and dynamics within the individual’s unique context. She collaborates with the client to unpack patterns and assists in producing desired changes. Laura believes these changes are brought about through therapeutic collaboration and client-centered goal planning. Laura is open to working with families, couples and individuals of all ages. She has worked in various contexts with diverse populations and she is an LGBTQ ally.

Training and Experience: Laura completed her Master’s in Clinical Social Work at Boston College and her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Techniques: Laura works with clients from a combination of Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy. Laura is also trained in EMDR, evidenced-based therapy for trauma.
