Treatment Specialties: Morgan strives to create a safe environment for clients of all ages to express themselves. She has experience working with a variety of age groups, client identities, and presenting problems such as anxiety, depression, establishing boundaries, and communication issues to name a few. A collaborative and strengths-based approach is used to support clients and their goals. Morgan is open and accepting of all identities and sexualities of clients.
Training and Experience: Morgan obtained her bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She then continued on at Whitewater to receive her Masters in Science in Counselor Education with an emphasis in clinical mental health. Morgan is also Prepare Enrich Certified for premarital and relationship/couples counseling.
Techniques: Morgan builds the therapeutic relationship on the foundation of unconditional positive regard. Clients are given space to be seen, heard, and feel safe in sharing their experiences. Morgan enjoys getting creative in incorporating the clients hobbies and passions into the therapeutic space. Therapeutic approaches used in session include client-centered therapy, solution focused, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Other therapeutic techniques are also incorporated to fit the individual needs of each client.
