About Me: With advanced training in Emotion Focused Therapy and Somatic and Attachment EMDR, both therapeutic approaches rooted in attachment theory, I offer a person-centered treatment experience that recognizes each individual’s unique story. Together, we’ll create a space where your challenges are honored and your strengths are empowered, supporting you on every step of your journey.
My practice is shaped not only by formal expertise, but also by real-world experience and a commitment to meeting you where you are. I believe that healing and growth happen through genuine connection, compassionate understanding, and practical wisdom.

Treatment Specialties: Shi applies an existential approach using an attachment based lens to her work with individuals, couples and families. Shi has experience working with a variety of presenting symptoms from relationship trauma, co-dependency, depression, attachment trauma, anxiety, life transitions, to substance and behavioral addictions. Shi strives to provide a safe and secure space for all. Shi is ADHD: neuro-divergent, religion and faith, and LGBTQ+ friendly. Shi believes no one should have to walk their journey alone.

Training and Experience: Shi has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Human Resources from DeVry University, Chicago, IL and a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Viterbo University, La Crosse, WI.

Techniques: Shi is an emotion-focused therapist that recognizes everyone is unique and applies an integrative approach drawing from various techniques to best match your specific needs.
