Treatment Specialties: Jackie strives to create an open and safe space from the moment the client enters the room. She uses techniques from a variety of different models of therapy to help foster the client’s sense of hope and empowerment. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families of all ages, backgrounds and demographics.
Training and Experience: Jackie has her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Edgewood College and spent time working as a Behavioral Technician with children diagnosed with Autism and other co-occurring diagnoses. She also has worked at Central Wisconsin Center as a resident care assistant helping individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. She graduated with her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University.
Techniques: She utilizes techniques from a systemic perspective to help gain a better understanding of the client using techniques from solution-focused, client-centered, cognitive-behavioral and emotionally-focused therapy.
